Refresh Medi Spa was founded by Lorna Brown, a Certified Clinical and Esthetics Laser Technician, with a commitment to delivering personalized, results focused care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Conveniently located in Sherwood Park, just off Anthony Henday Drive and Yellowhead Trail, Refresh operates within RP Self Centre. The centre is home to a collective of experienced beauty professionals, including hair stylists, massage therapists, and brow and lash specialists.
With ample parking and a calm, modern atmosphere, Refresh Medi Spa offers advanced skin treatments and laser hair removal in a setting that feels both professional and comfortably inviting.
Clinic Concept
Refresh Medi Spa began as a small home based studio in Lorna’s basement, where she offered foundational skin treatments such as microdermabrasion and chemical peels.
As her client base expanded and the demand for advanced skin solutions continued to grow, Lorna invested in further training and technology, introducing laser hair removal, microneedling, and skin tag removal. That growth led to the exciting transition into a dedicated retail space in Sherwood Park, where Refresh Medi Spa continues to provide personalized, results driven care in a professional and welcoming setting.
How Refresh Started
Lorna was born in Scotland and moved to Canada with her family in 1977. She grew up in Mill Woods and now proudly calls Sherwood Park home.
Outside the clinic, Lorna enjoys spending time with her nephews watching wrestling, walking her dog Stan, and baking treats to share with friends and family. She loves exploring local farmers’ markets around Edmonton and makes it a priority to escape to a warm destination each winter for a little sunshine and sand.
On weekends, you’ll often find Lorna taking Stan on small road trips, working in her backyard during the summer months, or enjoying a movie night or a new restaurant in the area.
